Community Outreach and Volunteering
Cummins Station and DZL Management are supporters of environmental sustainability and Nashville's not-for-profit community. Simply, by choosing to make Cummins Station home for your business, you're supporting a host of community enhancing and earth friendly initiatives that are not available in other locations. Taking community outreach one step further, we strive to create opportunities for Community Members to get involved, if that's what they want. And since Cummins Station is home to several not-for-profit agencies, it' easy to foster a commitment to giving back throughout our community. Please contact
DZL Management for information on how we can support your efforts to get involved.
Through our Acting For The Planet initiative, the Community Arts Program, and the community outreach opportunities below, we strive to make your choice to be in Cummins Station (a smart choice in-and-of itself) provide you the unique "value add" of a seamless platform translating what's good for your business into an altruistic good for your community. Quite simply, your patronage is needed to support these unique community-enhancing programs, and with your patronage, that's what we're doing.
What's more, without further effort on your part, your choice also provides all associates and employees in your company the opportunity to leverage Cummins Station's programs into more effect for their individual efforts, if they so choose. And we promise that no matter what, these programs will enhance your daily experience in the Cummins Station Community.
Please contact DZL Management at (615) 259-0999 for information on our outreach programs.
Our support includes:
Adaptive reuse: You're already helping
Community Members, by choosing Cummins Station as their workday address, support the preservation of resources that building a new structure would require. Adaptive reuse of the downtown area's existing infrastructure helps preserve the resources that new suburban commercial districts would otherwise exhaust. This kind of environmentalism requires no greater effort than coming to work every day, yet it is one of the most impactful choices anyone can make with regard to acting on behalf of the planet.

Red Cross Blood Drive
Cummins Station makes it easy for Community Members to give blood by holding regular blood drives right in our Community Resource Center. Nurses from the American Red Cross oversee the collection, which is distributed to local hospitals. Check Community Calendar for announcements or sign up for our community email announcements here.
Land Preservation
We help Cummins Station Community Members to preserve Tennessee's natural landscapes and historic sites-by matching their support dollar for dollar. "Saving Acres with The Land Trust" is a unique matching gift program, created in partnership with The Land Trust for Tennessee (suite 511), whereby interested Community Members make monthly contributions that have double the impact. A monthly gift of $5, becomes $10 with our match. The result: More acres are saved more quickly. Together each Community Member can save 1.2 acres per year with Cummins Station's and DZL Management support!
Click here to sign up on the Land Trust's website and Save Acres with Cummins Station and the Land Trust. If you prefer a check or a cash donation to get the job done, please contact DZL Management Company in Suite 432 at (615) 259-0999 or the Land Trust for Tennessee in Suite 530 at (615) 244-LAND (5263)
The Land Trust has helped protect more than 130 properties totaling over 42,000 acres in 38 counties. To learn more about them, visit http://www.landtrusttn.org .
